Bronze Award
DofE gives you the chance to discover just how much you’re capable of. It’s also a great way to meet new people, try new things, do what you love and make a difference in your community. Through DofE, you can choose between a number of skills, and try different physical and volunteering activities. It’s your call.
DofE is non-competitive and for everyone – whatever your interests, background and abilities. It’s about finding the confidence to be yourself, and knowing that when things get tough, you can find a way through.

In 2025, we will be running the DofE Bronze programme, giving young people the opportunity to participate in the following areas, Skills, Physical, Volunteering and Expedition, to achieve your Bronze Award. You can choose what you would like to do for the first three sections, and we will provide all the guidance and support you need. You’ll need to do two of these activities for a three-month period and one for six months. The Expedition involves spending two days and one nights in the countryside, and again we’ll make sure you’re fully prepared for it. As part of a team, you’ll have an unforgettable experience getting to grips with the great outdoors, and improving your communication and leadership skills along the way.
